Our activities in the field of water management are mainly
focused on improvement of the situation in waste water treatment
area in developing counties. We have been assising central as well
as local governments and private sector / companies and
organizations.
In Moldova we have been assisting local municipalities and cities
in selection of most appropriate methods and approaches for area of
waste water and drinking water treatment, including preparation of
feasibility studies, selection of the most suitable technical and
technological solutions and direct implementation of the whole
projects for more than last 10 years.
In frame of implementation of good governance principles in water
management, Ircon has assisted to Government of Republic of Moldova
in developing and implementation of the modern standards in waste
water treatment, incl. setting up the effluent limits. Further on,
the company is focused on improvement of availability in waste
water treatment technologies; Ircon has supported launching of
local production of waste water treatment technologies in Moldova
in close co-operation with local company.
Ircon ltd. has implemented several projects focused on the water
and sanitation funded by the donors from the Czech Republic,
particularly Czech Development Agency (CzDA) and Ministry of
Environment of Czech Republic (MoE). Ircon ltd. implemented
projects in Moldova, Sri Lanka, India, Georgia, Kazakhstan,
Macedonia, Burkina Faso and other countries in the world.
Currently Ircon has been implementing project for reconstruction of
the waste water infrastructure in Vulcanesti in Southern
Moldova.
In Sri Lanka, we assisted to improve availability of waste water
treatment technologies, again in close-co-operation with local
government and private sector. This project was supported by
Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic.
In India, we have implemented project focused on awareness raising
in waste water treatment.
