Ircon ltd. is a company, based in the Czech Republic, that implements projects in the fields of water and sanitation, solid waste management and environmental education.
The company´s mission is to contribute significantly to the protection of the environment by conserving water and assisting with putting in place proper solid waste management systems in developing countries.
Ircon possess unique expertise gained during 15 years of implementation of water and sanitation projects in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa and Europe (see examples of our projects - CZ).
Ircon provides consultancy services to national and local governments in the field of water and solid waste management and development of legislative frameworks.
The Ircon Company was established in 2003 by a team of experienced water and sanitation experts.  Since that time, the company has implemented more than 50 projects in various countries; including Ethiopia, Mongolia, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Macedonia, India, Belarus, Kosovo and many more.
Ircon provides services for designing water supply and waste water infrastructure, preparing expert feasibility studies (in the water, wastewater and solid waste sectors), managing complex projects and preparing and executing educational / public awareness campaigns.
Projects implemented by Ircon focus mainly on the effective reduction of the negative impacts of human activities on the environment in developing countries. This is done in accordance with Ircon ltd.’s expert policy. Individual projects focus specifically on selection of the best available techiques , raising awareness among concerned groups, legal advisory to national governments and municipalities and other stakeholders.
In order to assist strategically with development in partner countries, the company’s mid-term objectives include not only the relatively simple application of water treatment, supply and sanitation technologies, but also the launch of their production in beneficiary countries such as Moldova, Kosovo and Georgia.
The company cooperates with leading Czech and international experts in many areas: geology, hydrology, hydrogeology, water testing and agriculture, as well as with producers and manufacturers of the most modern water and waste water treatment technologies. Ircon also works with NGOs. It provides consultancy services and training in the fields of management systems, quality monitoring, occupational health and safety and environmental protection. 
Ircon’s main clients include the Czech Development Agency (CzDA), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the European Commission (EC), KfW and other institutional and private clients.
