Building of institutional and expert capacities for Cleaner Production in Macedonia

The first phase of this project has been focused on establishing of CP centre in Macedonia.  Basic materials concerning establishment of new Centre have been collected during another project realised by CCPC in Macedonia, therefore the first year of the project has been focused on legal establishment of new Centre and first CP projects.

Entire project is focused on further development of CP market and training of MCPC staff.  This project follows well-proved scheme from similar projects in this area, where simultaneous training of staff of enterprises taking part in the project is followed by cleaner production projects implemented in companies which employs them.  The project has slow start, due to difficult internal situation in Macedonia. During this phase, 21 people have been trained, and cleaner production projects have been implemented in 8 companies throughout the country.
